GameAudioLab ("we", "us", "our") operates the website gameaudiolab.dev and the associated API at api.gameaudiolab.dev. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our services.

  • Account information: Name, email address (via Clerk authentication)
  • Usage data: Audio generation prompts, job history, credit balance
  • Payment data: Transaction records via our payment provider (we do not store card details)
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information for rate limiting and abuse prevention

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the GameAudioLab service
  • Process payments and manage credits
  • Generate audio content based on your prompts
  • Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
  • Communicate with you about your account

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers, R2, KV) in the European Union region. Audio files you generate are stored on Cloudflare R2 and are retained for the lifetime of your account.

5. Third-Party Data Processors and Service Fulfillment

To operate our platform and fulfill digital transactions securely, we share limited user data with essential third-party service providers.

  • Lemon Squeezy, LLC: Acts as our official Merchant of Record. When you initiate a checkout on our platform, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your billing name, address, email, IP address, and raw payment information to prevent fraud, manage invoicing, and execute tax reporting. GameAudioLab.dev receives only transaction metadata (such as order IDs, subscription status, and country configurations) required to credit your user account. See lemonsqueezy.com/privacy-policy
  • Clerk: Authentication and user management. See clerk.com/privacy
  • AI Generation & Infrastructure Providers: Your uploaded prompts, functional configuration data, and generation histories are securely passed to our edge compute network and AI infrastructure models to deliver the synthetic audio assets. Your generation data is strictly never sold or used to train third-party foundational models.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated audio files are retained for the lifetime of your account. Transaction records are retained for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. You may request account deletion at any time.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
